SANTA CLAUS - Is very pleased to read Great Papa elf's report on Jimmy Watson's year

Santa Claus, is known as Santa, by his elves. To billions of children all over the world, he is known as Father Christmas.

Most children know about Father Christmas, some believing in him, others, especially as they grow older, choosing not to believe in the jolly, bearded figure, who mostly dresses in red and white fur, during delivery time.

Santa is said to bring gifts during the late evening and overnight hours on Christmas Eve to "nice" children, and not very much to "naughty" children. Although, Santa loves all children. Those who respect their parents and teachers, will nearly always get a treat, where badly behaved boys and girls miss out on the extra attention. Whereas, those who are treated badly by adults, or live in deprived regions. will always get a big dose of good cheer at Christmas, and nasty parents, not.


THE CHRISTMAS TRADITION

Father Christmas typifies the spirit of good cheer at Christmas, bringing peace to the earth, even for a short time, when many forget their difference. Like the time English troops played German troops at football across Non-Mans-Land in World War One. Christmas replaces the feast day of Saint Nicholas, combining the celebration with the birth of Jesus Christ, on the 25th of December. Since the founding fathers landed in Plymouth, USA, a turkey has become synonymous with thanksgiving and Christmas Day meals.
