THE
WATSON FAMILY - Some
months after their Cannonball
Run win, the Watson family take a trip to Glastonbury Tor, where the
Magic Dinobot encounters unexplained signals.
SIGNAL JAMMING
The A303 stretched out like a grey ribbon across the ancient landscape, but for
Tim
Watson, it was becoming a tactical battlefield. Behind them, the matte-charcoal silhouette of
'The Eye' was gaining ground, its sleek, predatory grill visible in the side-mirror.
Inside the VW, the air was thick with the scent of Marion’s ginger biscuits and the hum of high-alert electronics. On the roof, Anthony’s legs were vibrating so fast they were a blur.
"Mr. Watson," Anthony’s voice came through the cabin speakers, sounding crisp and professional. "We are currently the target of a pincer-scan. There is a military-grade satellite pinging us from orbit—hello, Skynet—and a radar pulse from our friend the Inspector. It feels like being poked by a thousand tiny, invisible fingers."
"What can you do to throw him off course, Anthony?" Marion asked, her eyes fixed on the rearview mirror. "I don’t mind a bit of a chase, but I draw the line at being poked by satellites."
Tim frowned, his MI5 instincts sharpening. "I’ve spent half my career defending this country, and now
Scotland Yard is treating a family picnic like a heist at the Bank of England. What is
Rathbone’s angle?"
INSIDE "THE EYE"
Two miles back, the atmosphere inside the Ford Transit was considerably less cozy. Inspector Basil Rathbone was leaning so far forward his nose was almost touching the primary tactical display.
"The data, Miller! Look at the data!" Rathbone pointed a trembling finger at a wave-pattern on the screen. "That isn’t a camper van; it’s a mobile transmitter! How are they receiving these bursts? If they aren't chasing
gold, what are they tapping into?"
Sergeant Miller adjusted his headset, feeling a bit like a character in a spy movie who had accidentally wandered into a fairy tale. "Sir, with respect, this area is steeped in folklore. Cadbury Castle is literally
Camelot. Maybe they’re just... enthusiasts,
focusing in on Ley
Lines?"
"Ley Lines! Nonsense. Enthusiasts don't use 128-bit encryption, Miller! They’re looking for
Excalibur. They want the 'Sword.' Think of the value! A pristine, legendary artifact from the Dark Ages? That’s not just history; that’s the ultimate retirement fund."
"So you do believe the Sword exists?" Miller asked, a small smile playing on his lips.
"I believe in treasure, Miller!"
Sir, the longest Ley Line in the world runs from St Michael’s Mount, Penzance, through
Glastonbury and out to Bury St. Edmunds, right across southern England."
"Is that so, Miller. That isn't magic; it's a map for grave robbers!"
THE GHOST IN THE MACHINE
Back in Miss-Ocean, Jimmy was grinning. "Anthony, can you give them a little 'spooky' treatment? Show them why you don't mess with the Watsons."
"With pleasure, Master Jimmy," Anthony chirped. "Engaging 'Poltergeist Protocol.' Deploying ancient frequencies in three... two... one..."
Inside the Transit, the high-tech silence was suddenly shattered.
Huuuuuuum-MAAAAAA-huuuuuuuu.
"What the—?" Rathbone jumped, nearly knocking over his lukewarm tea.
A deep, reverberating Gregorian chant began to pour out of their state-of-the-art headsets. It was followed immediately by the haunting, low-frequency whistle of a
Blue
Whale.
"Miller, fix the audio!" Rathbone barked.
"I'm trying, sir, but it’s... it’s coming from inside the firewall!"
Then, the main monitor flickered. The satellite map of the Sparkford Bypass dissolved into a swirl of blue mist. Out of the digital fog, a knight in full plate
armour, mounted on a spectral white charger, galloped across the screen. The knight lowered his lance, pointing it directly at Rathbone’s nose, before dissolving into a shower of binary sparks.
"What the devil!" Rathbone recoiled, his face turning a shade of pale that matched the ghost.
Mitch Miller bit his lip to keep from laughing. "I think... I think they might be onto us, Inspector. Or the van is haunted by a very tech-savvy knight."
"Nonsense!" Rathbone roared, though his voice wavered. "Drop back, Miller! Increase the distance! How did they fathom our frequency? Remind me to have a very stern word with the boffins at the Yard. This equipment is supposed to be 'un-hackable'!"
THE ESCAPE
Tim watched the black van in the distance slow down and veer toward the shoulder of the road.
"Nice work, Anthony," Tim chuckled. "They’re backing off."
"He looked really scared, didn't he?" Jimmy asked, looking back through the rear window.
"He looked like he’d seen a ghost," Marion said, patting the dashboard of the
VW. "Which, technically, he did. Next stop: Camelot."
The VW took the turn for Chapel Road, leaving the bewildered Inspector behind. Ahead of them, the massive, tiered ramparts of Cadbury Castle loomed against the sky—a green giant holding secrets that had been waiting fifteen centuries for a boy, his family, and a three-meter
robot
ant to arrive.

OUTLINE:
The Silicon Sword and the Avalon Code: A Summary
The Call of the Tor
The adventure begins under the shadow of Glastonbury Tor, the legendary Isle of Avalon. While the Watson family—Tim, Marion, and Jimmy—celebrate their recent Cannonball Run victory, their secret AI companion, Anthony, experiences a violent system "glitch." His sensors pick up a rhythmic pulse vibrating through the ancient Ley Lines—the invisible energy veins of Britain.
Anthony realizes he has inadvertently carried a "data fragment" from Tintagel, which is now being amplified by the Tor’s mystical frequency. As a ghostly apparition of Merlin flickers in the mist, Anthony decodes the first part of the Avalon Code: a prehistoric warning that the island’s "circulatory system" (its waterways) is failing.
The Pursuit of the Eye
The Watsons aren't alone. Inspector Basil Rathbone, still smarting from being outmaneuvered in the Cannonball Run, has traded his vintage Wolseley for a state-of-the-art Ford Transit Surveillance Van, nicknamed "The Eye." Joined by Sergeant Mitch Miller, Rathbone uses advanced signal-tracking to hunt the "illegal tech" he believes the Watsons are hiding.
As the Watsons race to Cadbury Castle (the historical site of Camelot), a high-tech cat-and-mouse game unfolds. Anthony uses his "spooky" AI capabilities to haunt Rathbone’s van, playing ancient chants over their high-tech headsets and projecting digital "ghosts" of Knights on their monitors to lead them on a wild goose chase through the Somerset Levels.
The Secrets of Camelot
At the ramparts of Cadbury Castle, the mystery deepens. Using Tim’s military intelligence skills and Anthony’s ability to "interface" with the earth, the family discovers that the Round Table was not just a piece of furniture, but a council of "Keepers" who managed the island’s resources.
Anthony "plugs in" to a buried Neolithic standing stone, discovering that the legendary
Excalibur—the Silicon Sword—wasn't a weapon of war, but a sophisticated "Key" designed to regulate the purity of the surrounding seas. The Watsons realize they must take this "Digital Key" to the birthplace of Arthur to unlock a hidden filtration system that has been dormant for centuries.
The Battle of Tintagel
The finale takes place at the jagged cliffs of Tintagel Castle in Cornwall. The Watsons find Merlin’s Cave choked with "Ghost Nets" and plastic pollution, which has physically blocked the ancient energy nodes, causing the Ley Lines to "overheat" and disrupt the local climate.
While Charley Temple broadcasts the unfolding "archaeological miracle" live to the world, Marion and Jimmy brave the rising tides to dive into the cave. Anthony, using his Bulldog Ant strength and invisible "Ghost Mode," helps them clear the plastic and "insert" the Silicon Sword into a hidden altar within the rock.
The Avalon Legacy
As the code is fully activated, a harmonic wave pulses through the Atlantic. The water shimmers with a bioluminescent glow, and the plastic waste is vibrated into manageable heaps for collection. Even Rathbone, witnessing the "spooky" majesty of the event, realizes that the Watsons aren't criminals—they are the modern-day successors to the Knights of the Round Table.
The story ends with the "Avalon Code" going viral: a digital blueprint for a cleaner, protected planet, proving that the magic of the past and the technology of the future are one and the same.
